A. M. Cagle of Villa Rica, Georgia, leading a song he composed at the annual Sacred Harp singing at the Cullman County courthouse in Cullman, Alabama.

Cagle wrote the song in 1908. At the time this photograph was made, the Cullman County annual event was the oldest Sacred Harp singing in that part of the state.
