In the oral histories, elders in the community related aspects of their childhood and life in Lower Peachtree and shared their thoughts on the current society. The students, with the help of Larry Long, wrote folk songs about these experiences. Historical photographs from 1996 are also. PACERS (Program for the Academic and Cultural Enhancement of Rural Schools) seeks to highlight the merit of rural schools and organizations.
