Description
Summary:Pamphlet: contains songs, poems, drawings, newspaper articles, and photographs written January 22-28, 1999 by the students of Bibb Graves School and Larry Long in Millerville, Alabama. The pamphlet also contains the names of the students and teachers at the Bibb Graves School, as well as the names of the elders from the community. The students, with the help of Larry Long, wrote folk songs about the lives of elders in their community. The songs were performed at the 1999 Millerville Music Celebration. PACERS (Program for the Academic and Cultural Enhancement of Rural Schools) seeks to highlight the merit of rural schools and organizations.
