It includes the direct application, also notices that needs to be read on the air. "The officers, directors, and ten percent or more of the stockholders of Johnston Broadcasting Company are the estate of George Johnston Jr., Rose Hood Johnston, George Johnston III, and Mattie Jones." Does appear there were over three generations of Johnstons. I’m not sure if George Johnston was the first. I believe he was the first one to own the station, but I’m not sure. Correspondence found in WJLD files."
